We prioritize the health of our patients and team. Learn how we put this into practice.
We built our service from the ground up with patient safety and convenience at the center. There is no commute to a clinic, no crowd of other patients, no surfaces that aren’t your own. With our in-home appointments, you only come in contact with your physical therapist who is trained to follow strict COVID-19 hygiene protocols.
In addition, we offer a telehealth offering for patients interested in further reducing their exposure. We encourage telehealth especially for those who are at high risk according to the CDC or have any signs of sickness.
Our company policy is that all staff, clinical and non-clinical, must be fully vaccinated, or receive and attest to a negative COVID-19 test, completed within 72 hours of any in-person appointment or company related meeting or event.
Both patients and physical therapists are required to wear masks for in-home visits. Physical therapists will be using hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes as well, and we encourage patients to use hand sanitizer before and after each visit. If a patient refuses to wear a mask physical therapists may request a virtual visit instead of an in-home appointment.
When physical therapists call patients prior to an in-person visit, they will take the patient through COVID-19 screening questions. When en route to see a patient, PTs may ask if the patient is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. If so, the appointment will be rescheduled at no cost.
